Принц Уильям и Гарри выразили слова поддержки знаменитому регбисту Гарету Томасу, который накануне признался в положительном ВИЧ-статусе.

В Instagram-аккаунте Кенсингтонского дворца было размещено заявление принца Уильяма, в котором он поддерживает бывшего капитана сборной Уэльса по регби, 45-летнего Гарета Томаса:

«Смелый, как всегда. Легенда на поле и легенда за его пределами. Ты можешь рассчитывать на нашу поддержку, Гарет. Уильям», — сообщается в посте.

Он также сообщил, что в течение многих лет получал угрозы от людей, которые хотели выдать его тайну и был близок к самоубийству, но смог принять факт болезни и продолжить жить дальше.
